The poster finally says it out loud, and gets accused of judging and guilt tripping for the trouble. From there it turns into a bigger question the two of them do not fully agree on. Jay wants to know what this person has ever actually done, in action, to earn the title of close friend. Bruce pushes back on whether showing up has to mean favors at all, and somewhere in the middle a certain ten hour drive and a very badly timed trip to Home Depot come back to haunt him. It is honest, it gets personal, and it lands on what really separates a friend from someone who is only around when things are easy.
